Discussion 9-22-10

The discussion today had some interesting points. I don't think we really talked much about the actual bill, but there were some great things said. Some people got a little loud but that's okay to do just as long as you remain under control and the hole class did good with that. In my honest opinion I think Americans are a bunch of selfish, lazy, stubborn, Hippocrates. We want the illegals here because they do the jobs we don't want to do but turn right around and say they are taking our jobs. I noticed that's what some people said today in class that they do jobs we don't want then a few min later say there taking our jobs. I mean if we want them to do the jobs we don't want to do then were gonna have to pay for them to be here,otherwise, we will have to get up off or butts and do pick some fruit ourselves, but use Americans are way to lazy to do that so we have no one to blame but our selves. This bill is trying to get rid if the illegals but it's just pushing them to different sates immigration cant be controlled no matter how hard we try. It's also not right to just look at just the Mexicans or just people who look Mexican. How do we no that the immigration rate could be higher from Canadians? we don't cause we don't stop to look because there white they look like they belong. We just stereo type people and that is what the police in Arizona will do to decide who to card and who not to it will cause a lot of racial tension.

Well lots of things are going on with the hole SB1070 issue. I saw a movie that is like exactly what is going on in Arizona but it was in Texas. the movie is called Machete and it had a lot to do with immigrants crossing the boarder into Texas to get away from the drug cartel leader who was torturing everyone there and the people of Texas were killing these immigrants the second they step foot on our land . Much like people who feel it's there job to kill people trespassing. It was very interesting how much the two things were in common with each other.
